Baby Fever

It’s springtime and that only means one thing….it’s baby fever time! I have several friends and family who have just had a baby or are pregnant right now. It’s hard to watch as they get excited about getting ready to grow their family, but it makes me want to have another baby even more. Almost 16 years ago, I too was going through what they are experiencing now, and I’m a bit envious too. Who knew that when I made that decision a little more than 16 years ago to not have any more children would come back to haunt me now? I was in a relationship that was not the best and it would fail a few years later. I was not happy in my life and I was not suicidal, but I was just not happy with my marriage either. My child was sick, and I was going through a lot of this alone without my ex by my side. I look back though at all the things that I had for Olivia at the time and realized that I had known about Uppababy at the time. Actually, I don’t think that Uppababy was in business then or maybe it was but was out of my price range then.
Jason and I have talked about adding another member to our family via IVF, foster care or adopting in which we would love to. But then comes the other options such as what stroller would we get, what kind of carseat and so on. Times have changed since Olivia was an infant and it’s hard to believe the cool things that are out now. I have often times browsed the internet looking for cool strollers and happened to come across the Uppababy glink 2 and thought to myself, that’s something that I wish I had when Olivia was little. While yes, I may have only 1 child, but because of her health we had to carry a lot of things with us. We do still have two smaller strollers in our home as we have one from when Olivia was younger that I purchased and we purchased another when I was watching my nephew for my brother. I have to say that I am glad we had one of the strollers when we went to Disney last fall with my niece & nephew as my nephew definitely needed that stroller. But if we were to add to our family today, I would definitely check out the strollers that Uppababy has to offer everyone!
