Yes, that only means one thing in our household…Olivia is finished with school! It took a little longer this year because of all the things that happened during it. From going on vacation, traveling a little during the fall to having friends move in with us for a few months. And then when my dad got sick and we weren’t so sure about if my grandma was going to make it, we have officially completed 9th grade! This year seemed to be more challenging then anything and when we were basically on lockdown with the whole Coronavirus, it’s been quite depressing for us all. But this summer we want to be able to do a few different things and enjoy life a little more.
This year we are trying our hardest to find some portable electronics to keep ourselves busy since we are still in lockdown a little. We are still allowed to go outdoors but many of the parks, businesses and more are still shut down. That means that even playing outdoors with others is really frowned upon in the state of North Carolina. Boo! It’s been incredibly hot so far and honestly since we don’t have a pool, we are staying inside instead. One of the things that we have looked into getting are new headphones for everyone in the family. I am looking into getting the new Apple Airpod Pros and Olivia would love to have a new pair of Beats for herself. Jason wants to get himself a new pair of Bose Headphones so it looks like we may be doing that this year.
We have found several things that we all would like to get and have found a good deal using Rakuten. So now we just wait to see if we are able to get those things…even if it’s getting them one at a time. We want to save some money and any little bit helps during these crazy times in the world! I can’t wait to start making new memories this summer with the family with new things happening and getting new portable electronics to help the lockdown more.

When Olivia was a baby, I would often wonder how I was going to get her to sleep so that I could enjoy a few moments of peace and quiet. Olivia was a child who would sleep at night but she had to be bathed every night and would need extra cuddles. My one go to product that would allow me to wash her and leave that baby fresh scent was always the Baby Magic Hair & Body Wash. This was a must have for our household and y’all even today we still have it in our house. I use it for various things such as cleaning my makeup brushes and yes, even using it myself in the shower at times. This has been a classic to have in our house growing up because I grew up with my mom always having it in the house. We also have used it to wash my grandparents hair when they needed something less harsh to use. Now that Olivia is older, she has sleep issues and we have a hard time getting her to go to sleep.
