Zipzicle DIY Ice Pop Pouches Review

*Disclosure: I was sent a package of the Zipzicle’s for free in exchange for an honest review. All my opinions are 100% my own!

Now that the summer heat has hit North Carolina, we are always looking for easy ways to make popsicle’s at home. We used to have those silicone ones and those just made a huge mess in our freezer and so we were still on the hunt to find better ones and ones we could make that were for adults! When I first received the package from Zipzicle, I had to open it and see what I got! I was very excited that I received them and was able to try them out. Like I said before, we’ve used other “easy” holders for popsicle’s but they just made a huge mess for us to clean up afterwards in the freezer. Do you know how hard it is to get frozen grape juice or wine off of the side of the freezer? It’s super hard and not fun either…I think I just left some in my parents freezer before too. And gave my brother the “easy” holders for his kids to use.

Zipzicle was formed when Shawna a mom of a little boy couldn’t have all of the other kinds of popsicle’s out there because of the artificial dyes that many have and wanted to be able to create something for him to enjoy too! What a great idea because even though we allow our daughter to have the artificial food dyes even though they make her mean and uncontrollable, this was a much better option for us. Plus the price of the Zipzicle isn’t too bad. For $14.99 you can get a 100 pack, for $6.99 you can get the 36 pack or for $3.99 the 18 pack. I would say that getting 100 packs is the best way to go because do you know how many of those artificial ones we go through each summer?!!! It’s a lot and that’s because we live in the south y’all where it feels like you are living on the equator. I have made several of the wine pops for myself and have enjoyed them or have them stashed in the outside freezer. We have already made plenty of them using cut up fruit and just plain water and enjoying the flavoring that way. You don’t have to worry about them leaking because they don’t!! If only these were available when Olivia was in her “I don’t want anything store bought” phase, but I’m glad we have them now to enjoy. I even gave a few to my parents for my mom to make her own sugar free pops for her to enjoy this summer. You can purchase the Zipzicle online here and are sold in many stores throughout the US. I’m so glad that we were able to try them, and when we are out I do plan on getting more at one of the stores near us.
