April Update

I feel like April came and went so quickly. It seems like it was just the beginning of the month and life has happened. So many things have happened or gone on in our lives in April. So here is a little recap of what happened in April.

• My parents went out of town for Easter and Olivia and I watched over my grandma. Now mind you she is 98 years young and we enjoyed visiting her daily!
• My best friend came up to visit and we went to Raleigh to go thrift store shopping to find some good deals. Tonya racked up that’s for sure!
• I signed up for a Virtual Running Series and finished it up at the end of the month.
• Olivia turned 14 and that was a big deal for me! It’s hard to believe that she will be driving in a few short years. I’m not sure I’m ready for that to happen.
• Olivia has been doing better in school and her tests and quizzes shows it! The past several tests even in math has been 94 and up! So proud of how much she is understanding math which has been a struggle for years!
• I decided to continue with making one of my dreams happen and while I’m not ready to announce what it could be, in time I will.
• And no we aren’t pregnant before anyone else asks!
• Olivia has been playing soccer all month and she has come out of her shell even more! I couldn’t be a happier soccer mom y’all!
• I cooked more at home either making new recipes or using the instant pot! This has been the best investment I could have made!

More things have happened but those are the highlights of April! I will try to be more diligent in posting in May and so far the month is off to a good start!
