This week has been quite interesting. Well Sunday we decided to head out to Raleigh and go shopping for a new belt for me, a new stroller and go to Sam’s club. Well we got a new pair of PJ’s for Livy and went to Sams Club but we got nothing else. We’re still looking for a stroller, we right now have a Graco Quattro Tour one thats a pain to get in and out of the car and so I am thinking of getting a Maclaren Volo Stroller to replace the one we have now. It seats a child up to 55 lbs and so I’m thinking this is the one for us. Plus the online reviews are all positive about this one stroller so that’s another thing that I had to look at. I might go to Raleigh this weekend again and get one. We’ll have to see though. On the other note we think we might have to finally get a new camera. Our Kodak Camera has seen its better days that’s for sure. We’ve had this for about 2 years now but since we use it just about every day we need something that is going to hold up to its name. Don’t get me wrong but I like our camera but we need something that has a better optical zoom and a larger lcd screen on it. I’m really hoping we get one by christmas though.

On Saturday I am planning on taking Olivia to Vollmer Farms in Bunn with my friend Melissa Lipari. They have lots of things there for the kids to do like a hayride and a couple playgrounds. My friend Missy was telling me today that theres a farm in Youngsville that has even more for the kids to do and even has a train. I think we’re going to go to Vollmer farms though. Just depends on what I can find out about this other farm tonight or tomorrow. This afternoon I went to Rocky Mount to meet Angela for a couple of things she had for me and then I went on over to Target to see if they had any safety sissors (which they did not) and also picked up a couple items. I also went into the New Starbucks there in Target and got a Pumpkin Spice Frap. Its’ good but I honestly think they forgot to put the coffee in it. Oh well, we’ll see what happens next time I go there. I am thinking about getting maybe a Maple Latte instead.

Last night for dinner I think we had turkey sandwiches, yogurt and some rice milk. We also sat down and watched a movie and then it was off to bed. I didn’t even get online to check my email at all. Shocking I know!

Today I have to go to the school and take my test for class and then I think I’m going to pick up dinner either at Domino’s or have chinese food. I don’t know what exactly yet we’re going to have and so we’ll have to see. Well tomorrow I’m taking Livy to Vollmer Farms in Bunn and can’t wait! She can’t wait either, she keeps saying “Farm, Farm! Pumpkins, Farm!” Well Monday I have to take the van to Cox Dodge in Wilson to have my passenger side door fixed. About 2 weeks after we got it and the warranty ran out we noticed the door was acting funny. Now it has completely stopped working in the automatic sliding part and so we’re finally going to have it fixed. This is a very good sign considering it’s the side that Olivia has wanted to sit at because she can see the cows every morning and every night much better at that seat.

Today was Livy’s very first Field Trip to the Pumpkin Farm. We went to Fisher’s Pumpkin Farm in Red Oak which is only a few miles from my house so I’m glad it’s close by. We met up at the daycare and she wanted to ride in the van with all of her friends so I undid her Booster seat and put her into the van. She was so happy that she got to go in the big van as she calls it. We packed up and all followed behind the van. The adults that went were Kay (the director of Stonybrook), Ms. LuElla, Ms. Ashley (Livy’s Teacher), Michelle (Abigal’s Mom), Connor’s Dad met us there and Christopher’s Granddad. We all had a great time. When we first got there we unloaded the kids and then went over and looked at a few new baby chicks and a couple rabbits. Then we all loaded up on the back of the tractor in a wagon for a hayride. I’m sure my allergies are going to be killing me tonight and so we will have to take some benadryl tonight before we head to bed. While on the hayride we went and saw sheep, cows and heffer’s and horses. We took lots of pictures including a picture of a cows butt. It was a joke to see if anyone would take one so of course we all did. We had a great time on the hayride. We all learned something new about horses today, we didn’t know that in the fall time because all the grass is dying off they will sometimes eat pumpkins too. They’re like a yummy treat for the horses.

After the hayride we all went and sat down on the blue tarp and learned about all the different kinds of pumpkins and gourds there are. Naturally I had to take a lot of pictures but that’s just who I am. After learning about the pumpkins and how their grown we walked over to see more animals. We couldn’t touch the animals because of the health regulations (we had an E. Coli outbreak a year or two ago at the petting zoo at the NC state Fair) but what does my daughter do? She sticks her head into where the goats were. I was waiting for her head to get stuck and us try to figure out how to get her out. Luckily that didn’t happen. After the animals the kids went down and picked out their pumpkins. They are pretty small pumpkins but I think that we will have to go to the farm again to allow Livy to pick out a much larger pumpkin.

Yesterday we went to the mall to pick up our pictures from Sears and then went to The Children’s Place to pick out a Halloween Costume out. We have been lucking out of a costume that would fit Livy because she is so petite compared to other kids her age. They were out of the princess outfits so she chose a fairy princess one. It’s really cute. I’ll have to take a picture of her when I try it on her maybe this weekend. Halloween night we are going to go to Terry’s Church instead of going trick or treating (it’s much easier with a toddler to do this instead). Tonight for dinner I’m thinking of making Lasagna and maybe chicken for Livy. We will be eating at home this weekend because I’m tired of eating out all the time again.

Here’s More Photo’s from the trip:

Yesterday was a pretty busy day for me. Other than work being busy I had a busy evening. I called yesterday to a couple gyms around the area to find what the rates are going for because I have finally made the decision to join one instead of using my bootcamp dvds (which I have only used like once.) I called up to World Gym and the rates there look like we will be joining there. For just me to join I would have to pay a $60 enrollment fee and then it would be $50 a month but for Terry and I to join there would be no enrollment fee (usually $90) and would be $46 a month. Thank goodness my hunny is a police officer and gets good rates like that. I always knew he was good for something. hehehe

Anyways, yesterday after work I went and picked Livy up from daycare and then we drove on over to Walmart for a few things. While there I went ahead and got grandma a birthday card and Livy got her one too. We also picked up a couple new cups for Livy and also just a few things we didn’t need. While there I picked up a bottle of Cortislim Lifestyles just to see if they would help on my weight issue. I took one this morning and have already started drinking lots of water and such. For dinner we went to Ruby Tuesday’s and I had a veggie burger and a diet coke and Livy well had her usual chicken tenders and a sweet tea. The veggie burger was different but I just couldn’t finish it so I took it home and gave it to Zeus. I basically was full anyways so it didn’t matter and if I didn’t eat it then it would have gone bad in the fridge. Last night I also straightened my hair and I hope that it worked. It looks pretty good and of course I can’t wash it for 48 hours. So that means Thursday morning I can finally wash it again. Yeah! Today I’m going to go over to my grandparents and give my grandma her birthday cards. Today she turns 87 and she is still going strong. Well let me get back to work. I’ll try to update more later on.

Today was pretty uneventful. It turned out to be a very gloomy day and so we decided to stay in and not venture out anywhere. I had planned on going out but since I had a migrane too I wasn’t up for anything. I still
