Vacation is Coming!

It’s hard to believe that we are going to be going on vacation next week. Over the past few days I have been trying to get a few things together for our vacation. I have been working on getting laundry done so that when we go, it’s done and put away. I’d like to get the house cleaned up before we leave and I want to make sure we get rid of any food that will spoil when we are gone. I will most likely take some of the food in the fridge to my parents house if we aren’t going to use it all before we leave. I have to pack up the dogs and take one to the vets to be boarded and the other to my parents house.

Where We Are Staying

We decided to not stay on site this year again. We have a ton of points for our trading in weeks at our condo in the mountains. We stayed at Silver Lakes Resort last June and loved it but we couldn’t find anything there this year. Too bad because that property was just off of Disney Property. Oh well, we did however find a new place to stay at for not so many points. We are staying at Holiday Inn Vacation Club’s Orlando Breeze Resort. It’s about 10 minutes from the parks and we are OK in staying there. We did find a 2 bedroom condo so that will work for us on this trip. We can’t wait to leave in the morning.

How Long In The Parks

Our original plan was to do 3 day park hopper passes, but Jason surprised us yesterday and got us 5 day park hopper passes. Score! We are so excited to now go and play in the parks longer than we thought. This makes it a lot easier too to do fastpass selections too. We can’t wait until we are walking down Main Street USA on Friday! Don’t worry, I will post pictures after we return from our vacation.

That’s all I can say right now. We are leaving first thing in the morning and I have a lot of things to do until then. I was up early today and am off work already. Yay! So happy that we are able to take a vacation this year.
