I can see and Time Outs

Today has been a very trying day for me with Olivia. This morning she woke up and well just wanted to stay in trouble the entire time. She however did go to daycare this morning without a fuss so that was a positive note. This morning I got a phone call from the Eyecare place telling me that they had my glasses. I was so happy because the only thing I could think of was…”I might be able to see!” This afternoon after dad returned back in the office I headed on off to Rocky Mount to the eye doctor to pick up my glasses. I thought I had picked out a nice stylish pair and sure enough I picked out a quiet popular pair too or that is what the lady told me. I now have a nice pair of glasses that I can see with. I have to wear them all the time and that’s fine with me. I can see and I don’t care if I have to wear them all the time. I am just glad that I was blessed to get them. After I picked up the glasses I went to Sonic and picked up a Fried Ice Cream Blast…Yummy, and then headed on over to the library where I had two books on hold for me to read. The first one is by Julie Andrews and the other one is on weight loss. Yes I’m still trying to lose weight and I know I will be able to do it!

As for the time outs, Olivia has had her fair share of them this evening. She has stayed in trouble and I have to say that I don’t know what has gotten into her. I’m hoping that its only from the excitement of her starting school tomorrow. Tomorrow I don’t think much will get done with work because she has to be dropped off at school and then after that she will have to be picked up at 11:30am. They are on a staggerd schedule due to them not really being in a fully structured setting. Daycare is structured but Elementary schools have a different agenda. Olivia sat in time out at one point this evening for 25 minutes. She kept pushing it and touching things and getting off her stool and punching things that she went from having only 4 minutes in time out to 25 minutes. I think she has learned her lesson about it. Well I’m about to go get her in the shower and then to put her to bed. While she is at school tomorrow morning I’m going to go ahead and pick up her room and tonight I’m going to pick up my room and might even workout.
