Wow! Did we have a ball at the Howell Family Reunion. 🙂 It was so nice to see all of my family and socialize with them. I have some pictures that I’m going to put into a slide show to share them with you all. I just have to download them onto the laptop is all.
Ok so we got started on Sunday morning when I got up about 5:30am, grabbed Olivia and gave her a shower with me. Then it was Terry’s turn for the shower and we were out the door and on the road by 7:30am. We had to leave early so that we could get there in a good time. It took about 4 1/2 hours to get there and we stopped off at the Food Lion right down the road from Re’s house. When we got there we took out what we needed and started to socialize. My Aunt Susan got there just a few minutes after we did and took out the gang that she brought along. They would include…Bruce, Jonathan, Jake (black lab), JJ(black lab puppy) and Yogi (yellow lab puppy). Then we all went to visit. We saw my Uncle Kenny there and his future wife, Stacey. Well after talking for a while we ate lots of food and had some of Pats Famous meatballs. Mmmm! They are so good it’s making me hungry just thinking about them. I am sure I ate way too much too but it was all worth it!
I also let Olivia go swimming in Re’s pool and so it was pretty nice too. Olivia swam and finally I had to drag her out of the pool because she was having way too much fun and it was time to go home. Oh and another thing is that Olivia has found some new friends for when we go up to Maryland and stay with my Aunt Susan. She has found that JJ and Yogi love her including Jake as well. They all had a good time.
Soon it was time to say our goodbyes and hit the road. I drove for the most part down to Fredricksburg, VA from Berryville, VA and Terry drove the rest of the way home. I was so sleepy and held off going to sleep until we had just crossed the NC State line then it was down hill at that point. Olivia went to sleep and so did I. Terry had to stay up and do laundry for work but other than that we all had a fun and exciting time. Can’t wait until we go next year!!!
