This weekend hasn’t really been too eventful. Yesterday we went shopping for some new clothes for Livy, who has already outgrown most of her clothes from last fall/winter and then we went to the mall for me. At the mall we went into Victoria Secret to get me some new undies. It’s not like I shop there all the time but my last couple pairs I had basically have begun to get holes in them. Not very pretty. The undies from V.S. do last me a long time so I’ll probably won’t get any until Christmas time anyways. Then we walked around our mall not really finding anything I needed like Shoes (I am very picky about these) and some jean shorts. Then we went to Shoe Carnival and then to Walmart. We had several things to pick up there and then we went on home to cook dinner. I made a homemade Veggie Lasagna which turned out very good. The rest that we didn’t eat I put into the fridge for tonights dinner and also froze some for another nights meal.

Today we went to Tarboro for lunch and while Livy took her nap, I ran to the Dollar Tree and then over to The Shoe Dept (still didn’t find any that fit right). I might go back to the mall tomorrow or might drive to Raleigh instead. The normally have better shoe stores out there. For dinner Livy had Chicken Nuggets and some fruit and milk. I have only had some left over squash and plan on finishing up the pasta bows from the night before. Nothing too exciting happening tonight though. Just cleaning up around the house a little and have to still go feed the dog. Then its off to bed for me!

Fall is my favorite time of the year, it’s not as hot and miserable as the Summer and we can look forward to going to the pumpkin patch’s to pick out a pumpkin with Livy and might even make some homemade pumpkin pie! Mmmm…my mouth is already watering over that! We also get to make some homemade Brunswick Stew and many of my other favorites. It’s also the time of the year for Our Anniversary which isn’t until September 13th but just think, we’ve been married for almost 3 years. Don’t have any real big plans this year…just trying to save some $$ for a cruise or a nice trip for the 2 of us to go on maybe in the early spring!
