Strong Fathers, Strong Daughters Movie Review

As a parent to a daughter, I know how strong willed she is and can be. This movie is the perfect movie to add to your collection and to watch on Pure Flix as it is about a strong willed father with strong willed daughters. I promise that you will fall in love with the movie as much as I did!

A little About the Movie

Steve loves all three of his daughters – but does he really know who they are? Discover the heartfelt journey of a dad who is desperately trying to hold onto his little girls but learns he must give up control and trust God with their future. Watch the movie inspired by Dr. Meg Meeker’s best-selling book, “Strong Fathers, Strong Daughters.”

When a wealthy businessman learns his daughter is engaged to a missionary, he embarks on a quest to keep her closer to home. But when his efforts go awry, he must learn to give up control and trust God with her future.

This movie is based off the book written by Dr. Meg Meeker, Strong Fathers, Strong Daughters and is a best seller. Knowing that my sister and I put my dad through some things growing up and I’m not too proud of those moments. But having a child myself now, I am thankful for all that he has done for us. Just as Psalms 127:3 (NIV) says, Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him. I can promise you that is the truth.

Another verse that really understands the love from a father is, “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.” – 3 John 4(NIV)

Now it’s your turn to sit down with the family and watch this amazing film. I can promise you that you’ll fall in love with it as much as I did. I plan on having a movie night with the family just so we can watch this. This is now showing on Pure Flix and check it out exclusively on the streaming service.

Did you know that Encanto is the 60th animated feature from the Walt Disney Animation Studios and is now available to purchase digitally or watch on Disney Plus? That’s right, we received the code a few days before the movie was set to release to the public via digitally and I have to say that it’s a movie that is amazing! I have been seeing praise reports from friends and family who have fallen in love with this movie as much as we have.

A little About Encanto

Encanto tells the tale of the Madrigals who is an extraordinary family living in a house that’s magical in the mountains of Columbia. But when Mirabel, the only ordinary Madrigal, discovers the magic which is surrounding her house is in danger, she may be her family’s last hope. The music in the movie is outstanding and oh so catchy too, that you may be singing and dancing to it without the kiddos. I have watched this movie multiple times and I probably will continue to do so.

Indivisible Movie Review & Giveaway

Disclosure: I was sent an exclusive screening link in advance to be able to help facilitate my review. All my opinions are 100% my own. Thank you to Flyby Promotions for the 2 Fandango Tickets for the giveaway winner and for myself. When Jason and I went to see a movie over the summer, we happened to see the preview for this movie, ‘Indivisible” which we knew was coming out this fall. We both looked at each other and said we have to go see that. When I was asked to review the movie in advance, I was thrilled to watch it. Jason and I used our TV to watch the movie and let’s just say it’s a tear jerker for sure. This is based off a true story and at first it was a little slow but then we both enjoyed the movie. We know what it’s like to live in a military town and we know that there are many families who have to go through with what the Turner family had to go through. They went through trials and their faith was tested. Heather Turner felt that her husband wasn’t able to keep his faith and be a father to his children when he returned from war. I felt like I was living their life but I had never been through that before in my life. I have seen many of the my friends and even family go through it though. Through God’s promise and both of them going through life, they in the end made their marriage work. They worked on not only themselves, but they worked on their faith together. That is what God would want for us all to do. Facing divorce is not a fun thing to go through, that part I do know and they both wanted to fix their marriage for their family. I will say that this movie is a good one, but like I said before there were a few parts of the movie that were slow and I lost interest. But overall, I would add this to my collection of movies for sure. This movie is out on Friday, October 26th in a movie theater near you. Go and see the movie this weekend with a loved one or with your friends! This is a movie you must see today!!
