Ever since I started getting into journaling with my Bible about a year ago, I have filled my pages up with loved and notes that I knew I would. I am still filling them and now have another wonderful Bible to fill those pages up as well. I have always had NIV versions but this English Standard Version I’m loving even more now and the words are more eligible for me to read since I’m half blind without my glasses.

Matthew West has done it again and come out with another hit album!!! His newest album, ‘All In’ is one of the best that he has done and I have to say that I’m not disappointed with any of the songs on the album at all!!! Matthew wrote this new album with a goal to get his family, himself, friends and others encouraged to go out and live out their faith instead of sitting on the sidelines! We all seem to step aside from our faith when it comes to life, but when we need to get back to it we can’t seem to get there. Just listen to this album and it will help you understand where you need to go! I honestly needed to listen to this album so much because I had stepped away from my faith for a while because I have been dealing with a few medical problems. I know many of you already know this…but we love listening to CD’s in our home! I was sent this brand new CD to review by Laura Story. Many of you may know who Laura Story is by her last album and the songs “Mighty to Save” and “Blessings.” Laura did not disappoint when she decided to release this album, “Open Hands” because I have to say that some of these songs have become apart of what I listen to on a daily basis!
Laura’s new album is amazing and honestly has not left my CD player in my van at all! We listen to it daily and my favorite new songs are, “Death was Arrested, Open Hands (has Mac Powell as well) and Awake My Soul (A 1000 Tongues).” The whole album is amazing and there really isn’t a bad song on the disc! I am going to let my mom listen to it if I ever take it out of my van but for now it will stay there. 🙂
