Last night was the best night ever! I went and picked up Olivia from daycare early and brought her back to my parents to get her dressed. She didn’t want to get dressed at first but then wanted to princess as she called it. Once I got her dressed she was dancing around the house like she was a ballerina it was so cute. Then we went over to my grandparents and saw them. My grandmother was so speechless because of how Olivia was dressed. After we were finished over there we went to the van and then went to Tarboro. Once in Tarboro we went to my inlaws first becasue Olivia needed to be changed. She had a surprise visitor while there. Her Pa-Pop drove all the way back from Virgina last night just so he could see his little girl. We knew he wasn’t going to be there so we just walked in non chaluntly and there he was hiding in the bedroom waiting for her. She was so excited because as soon as we walked in the house she asked “pa-pop, where is he?” Well after we got her changed and attempted to get her fed she was ready to go to the Trunk or Treat Carnival at church. We packed her up and headed on over there. She was so excited too when she saw her Uncle Jim, Aunt Shelley and Justin and Jamie. The first thing she really did was to do the tee-ball. I think we might have a future ball player on deck, then she was over playing with the pick a duck from the duck pond for a prize. She was really into the hoola-hoops and tried to do it herself. Too funny with what she did. She would say are you ready and then spin the hoop as fast as she could make and and then twirl with it at the same time without any hands. It was so adorable!! She did get lots of candy but she isn’t going to get much of them at all. Last night after the carnival was done we went bak to my inlaws to see if Olivia was hungry yet and she was. She tried to eat some chili which she did and then she went to the fridge and asked for some turkey. She ate most of the turkey and then was so ready for bed. We went on home and I put her right on to bed.

Another thing that has happened is that I am probably losing a friend. Not to any illness and because she is obviously jealous of the way I am living and all that I have. She tells me that I complain way too much to her which lately I have barely even talked to her because she has been avoiding my phone calls and such. You know what, that’s fine with me because I don’t think I can be friends with someone who can talk junk about my husband while she’s around me and behind my back. I have a brother who knows just about everyone and things get back to me. I don’t need her anyways! I have other friends that I can have a normal conversation with and not have to hear her say, I can’t buy this or that because I don’t have any money but then she goes and purchases it anyways. Whatever! I just think that she wants to be like me and it’s really getting on my nerves now. Last Friday we went to Applebee’s for dinner and here she shows up with the same exact purse as me (which she asked if she could buy mine from me and I told her no) and I think that she is also a little jealous of the fact that I have a great relationship with my parents and she doesn’t. Well if the friendship is meant to be over then fine it is.

Sorry, I had to get that off my chest, back to me and my family. Tonight Olivia and I are going to have some fat free hotdogs and I might have some chili that we brought home on it. It’s the perfect time of the year to have soups and chili’s and such and I can’t wait until it snows this year. I have a feeling that this year we’ll get some. At least some that Olivia will be able to play with and go running in the backyard and have some fun. I remember as a child of going to the neighborhood hill and taking our sleds and snow tubes down it over the pond. I love the winter time too since we don’t see much of it here except for every other year. Since last year we got none and the year before we did I have a feeling this is the year for us to get some! I’m so excited too! I have a new winter coat and Olivia has a snow suit and its just perfect. Ok so I’m going to get back to work but I’ll try to write more later. Have a great day!

This weekend has just really been an interesting one. For one Terry had to work yesterday instead of spending it with us. We had already made plans to go to yard sales in the morning, then come home and do some cleaning and then go to Raleigh for a few things. Around 2pm Olivia and I went into Rocky Mount to return the videos from Blockbuster and then come on home before Terry got off work. When we got home around 3pm we noticed that we had no power. A little odd for us because I knew that I had paid the light bill so that wasn’t the problem but we couldn’t figure it out. Terry was still at work when I called him to let him know we had no power. He was doing a funeral escort and told me that after he was done with that he would call CP&L and figure out what was going on. He got no answer on that so he called up to Nash Communications (he knows a few people that work there) and come to find out a light pole with a transformer was blown over by the wind and the transformer blew up. They were estimating it would be back on by 5:45pm but when it rolled around the power was still not on. So Olivia and I decided we were going to do some projects with the construction paper we got. We ended up making a turkey (drawn around my hand of course), a paper chain, and 2 indian hats. We wore them around the house and had a blast too. Finally it was turning dark and we knew we couldn’t stay at home with no power and a hungry 2 year old. We packed up and went to my inlaws in Tarboro. We had a nice stay there too. Come to find out the power came back on not long after we left.

This morning we got up thinking we were running late when in all actuality we were early. We forgot about the time change and got up early anyways. Olivia did sleep in though thankfully. Well I think that I am finally going to take Olivia’s rails off her toddler bed. She keeps asking for me to “take off” and so I am going to probably do that this week. Well we didn’t go to church but we did leave in pretty good time to go to Raleigh. Once on the road Olivia took her nap right on time so it was a very peaceful drive up there. Once in Raleigh we went to Fuddruckers for lunch and then went to Burlington Coat Factory on Capital Blvd. We were’nt too happy with it plus couldn’t find me a coat so instead we turned around and drove up by Triangle Town Center and to the Dick’s Sporting Good store there. We found a $160 Columbia Coat for $79. I couldn’t be any happier with it. It’s really warm but I can use it for just a light coat too. I have a feeling this year we will be getting some type of cold wet weather! We also had our eyes examined at the doctors office next to Lens Crafter’s in Triangle Town Center and come to find out my prescription has really changed. The doctor told me I will have to wear my glasses at all times if I want to be able to see. Well I didn’t get new frames or anything but I am going to our mall instead and get new frames from Sears. I have a pretty nice coupon for there. We also went to The Children’s Place to get a couple new shirts and yoga pants for Olivia but came out empty handed. She did however get 2 new pairs of PJ’s which she was in desperate need of.

Once we got home we put her to bed after giving her dinner and then I did my homework and finished it. I have to stop by the mall tomorrow to at least get Olivia a pretty long sleeve shirt to wear under her halloween costume for tuesday night while we go to “trunk or treat”. Well let me go for now, my eyes are still a little dialated from this afternoon.

So here it is about 2:30am and I can’t sleep. I’m so tired its like I can’t fall asleep. Ugh! Why do these nights always seem like the longest ones? And to make it worse my 2 and a half year old is still up

It seems like this week is going by so slow. I got up around 7am this morning and hit the snooze and layed in bed since 7:30am. I was so sleepy even though I went to bed around 8:30 last night. I haven’t been feeling the best in the world this week and so I’ve been trying to take it easy. If I could have stayed at home today I would have but I had so many things to do at work. I did however pick up a new candidate and I am hoping that she will be placed somewhere. The last couple of candidates that I have picked up have either vanished off the face of the earth or have found other jobs on their own. Oh well that’s the life of a recruiter. This morning I knew it was going to be cold out so of course I went and put on a long sleeve shirt again and then went and dressed Olivia. I put her in a nice warm outfit and when it was time to leave for outside she didn’t want to original coat I had on her she wanted her Red coat instead. So I took off the coat and then put the right coat on. She also asked after we got outside if I could take a picture of her since I had done her hair today and also wanted a fruit snack instead of candy. I went back inside after I had put her into her seat and got the few things I needed. When I got back into the car she had me take a couple pictures of her.

I got to work and really felt like crud. I also noticed that my mom was home from work too! Ok you have to understand my mom, she never misses work at all and when she misses Church the night before and then work today she’s really sick! Today has been an interesting day but nothing new though. Dad is going to Wilson to meet my sister for dinner and I have to go pick up Olivia and take her home. I still have no idea what’s for dinner but we’ll figure that out later on. The Directv Man was out to fix out satellite reciever and hook up the DVR in the living room. We have not had any show on in that room for almost 3 months now and we have been waiting to see if the DVR is really what we wanted to do. Terry and I both agreed that’s what we wanted since he’s been working all the time. Also I have to go home and start to clean up for my Pampered Chef Party happening on November 13th! I can’t wait either. Well let me go for now. I’ll try to write more later on if I can!

I have finally switched over to the Blogger Beta and I love it too! Well today is Wednesday and its the middle of the week, which means the week is halfway over. Yesterday Terry didn’t get off work until 7pm which meant that he was
