I can’t believe that it’s Thursday already. I haven’t had time to update my blog since Saturday because I’ve been pretty busy. So here’s the low down on what’s been going on. Sunday I went to Rock Creek Baptist Church again and actually stayed awake during the entire service. Surprise, Surprise! Well it was pouring rain on Sunday like cats and dogs and so driving to church was kind of slow and then driving to Tarboro too was kind of slow. Oh well, it’s not like I was in any major kind of hurry. We had a nice lunch and then it was time for Livy’s nap. She layed down and so did I. I was exhausted and I needed the rest. I took a good long one and didn’t have time to clean anything once I got home because we too needed to go grocery shopping. I can’t believe that I saved almost $16 at the store with using my MVP card and coupons. We went home put Livy to bed and I did my homework and submitted it.

Monday was my Pampered Chef Party and I had a blast. Even though only 2 people showed up I still had a good time. We made a Cool Veggie Christmas Tree and trimmed the tree with broccoli, red peppers, mushrooms and carrots. Very tasty! And I made a Black Forest Cake in my Fluted Stoneware pan in the Microwave (it only took 12 minutes too). It was delicious even when I added some drizzeled chocolate over the top of it. I am still trying to get several orders now so if you would like to place an order Click here. Let see, Tuesday I really didn’t do anything. Just spent some time at home. We had Sloppy Joes for dinner and Livy ate some of it but mainly wanted her banana and her chips. It’s ok, she hasn’t been feeling the greatest in the world and so her appitite has suffered some. Even when I gave her chicken she pushed them away like she didn’t want it. Last night we drove to Tarboro for dinner so that she could see her Pa-Pop and Mom-Mom. She didn’t really even eat except for some bread and afterwards I took her back to their house so that I could change her and also give her something to eat. she did eat a couple bites out of her banana and that’s it really. Maybe this simply stuffy I gave her today will help clear out the congestion she has in her head. She also has a nice rash all over her body so this morning I gave her a bath and washed her in Aveeno body wash. That seemed to help some of the itching that she did have. It also might be her Eczema acting up again. I do notice that’s when it does act up more often.
Here are some pictures of the house and how clean it is:

Tonight I’m going to meet up with a good friend, Chelle and we’re probably going to go out to dinner together. It’ll have to be somewhere cheap where we can gossip and catch up on what’s been going on in our lives. She was a good friend of Terry’s and still is but we have become good friends too. Terry is meeting with a nice man today who is purchasing his old rims that were on his truck. He did purchase new ones back in the spring and he really likes them. Whatever, it doesn’t matter to me. Rims are rims I guess. Oh and yesterday I ordered a couple things off Amazon.com. I have been looking for a hardcover copy of “Flag of Our Fathers” for my grandfather for christmas which I found for a reasonable price online. I also purchased “Star-Craving Mad” by Elise Miller to put under the tree for me. Terry just doesn’t know that yet! hehehe Well I better get to work.

Where should I begin…On Wednesday I had a little fall on my Right Ankle again and it wasn’t too good. It seems that when I stepped down from the final step on our back porch I stepped into a mud hole and my ankle rolled on me and I heard it snap and then it popped. Not a sound anyone wants to hear. Well I had Olivia in my arms because she was playing around in the water on the door and I didn’t want her to be all wet when I put her into the carseat. Well I set her down and of course started to feel the sharp pain that I had from this and also the fact that my husband was standing in the doorway yelling at me to get into the car and stop crying and being a big baby. Yeah from the time that it happened to the time that I hobbled my way over to the van to hook Olivia into her seat, he could have gotten a pair of pants on and a shirt and come outside to check on me. Anyways, I drove to work and then came inside and got some ice on my foot. I’m so glad that it doesn’t look to be broken but boy it sure is bruised. That evening for dinner I made Spaghetti with some garlic bread and had a salad for me and some applesauce for Livy. Then I put her to bed and I went to cleaning up the dining room. I did most of it including vacuming and dusting it. Then it was off to bed for me.

Yesterday I went to work still having a hard time on my foot and did some work. I did however seem to pick up 2 new candidates. Afterwards I went to pick up Livy from daycare and then went on home to pick up Terry. We already had plans on going to Old Navy for a couple of Christmas gifts which luckily we found on the clearance racks. You can’t go wrong when you can find really good deals with clothes for children. I mean we had well over $80 for about $18. Now that’s a Deal!!! Well afterwards we went to Lowe’s Home Improvement Store to return a darkening shade I had bought for Olivia’s room and got the wrong size and we also picked up a couple light bulbs for the light over the kitchen sink (yeah it’s bright in there now). Afterwards we went to Chick-Fil-A to eat dinner and then back home it was to give Livy a bath and to bed for the both of us. Terry stayed up long enough to put his work clothes in the dryer and then he was in bed too.

This morning I was up at 5am because his alarm clock was buzzing and he wasn’t getting up. Around 5:45 he asked me if I could get up and fix him a pot of coffee, which I did. Then as he was coming back into the room to brush his teeth he ran into my foot and ankle and then told me that I shouldn’t have had it there in the first place. He was in a hurry because he got up late but not my fault. Tonight when I get off work I’m going to go pick up Livy from daycare, then to go on home to fix dinner. I am thinking of having baked chicken with some stir fry and rice. Make it a asian themed dinner. Mmmm good. Afterwards I’ll have Olivia put down for bed and then I can get started on cleaning the living room. My Uncle Kenny is coming down to visit my parents and I might have to stop on in and say hello to him. He doesn’t get down to NC to see us much so it’ll be a nice change for us all. It seems like my phone has not stopped ringing of the hook and so when I get into the car I’m going to have to plug it in.

Also another thing is Terry called me this morning to get mine and Olivia’s SSN’s so that he could add us to the insurance. We’re not getting health insurance because it’s too expensive but we are getting Dental insurance for the entire family and also having life insurance on us all. Terry’s insurance will be for $40K and Olivia’s and mine will be for $5K. It seems that Health Insurance has just become too expensive for us to afford it. I picked up a copy of Parenting Magazine last week and came across this article on how most families in the US can’t afford health insurance. I think something should be said to the government about this because it’s not fair for those of us who are working hard should be able to get some type of insurance without having a high deductible. Well it’s worth reading that’s for sure.

This weekend nothing too much happened. On Saturday Olivia and I just hung out around the house for the most part and then once Terry got home from work I had dinner waiting for him. We had baked Lasanga, a salad and some garlic bread. We packed up and went to Terry’s parents house because terry wanted to go to the turkey shoot the church was having. Olivia and I went on to the house though to see his parents and because Olivia was ready to go to bed. We gave her a bath and the put her on to bed. I then went on to bed because I was really tired.

Sunday we got up and went to Church. I actually dressed up which for me dressing up is a miracle. Terry told me that I looked “Sexy” and that I should dress up like that more often. I’ll try to work on that I guess to make my hunny happy. Well it was around 12:30pm and Sister Ann was still preaching and we left. Olivia was hungry and all that fun stuff so Jamie went and on back to the house. We all were so hungry but we were so kind in waiting for the rest of the family to eat. Olivia wanted to eat in her big girl chair at the big girl table so she waited patiently too. After lunch we all cleaned up and then I took my nap and so did everyone else. well for me I didn’t really fall asleep but I did rest some. We then went on home afterwards and put Olivia to bed and then I took the time to turn in my homework, watched 7th Heaven and then I went on to bed. I got up this morning feeling not so great but was going to go to work anyways. When I went into Olivia’s room she felt very warm and I went to go get the thermometer and took her temp and it was 103. She did vomit on me but luckily there were no chunks this time. I called dad and told him that I won’t be into work today and I was going to try to do some work today. Yeah right! Like that every happens. I did however clean up the dining room and put my pfaltzgraff dishes away. Tonight I went to Sears because my glasses were in already and then went to Lowes food to pick up dinner and a few other things that we needed. I just put the pizza in the oven and I better go get the salad ready too. Well let me run for now. Have a good night ya’ll!
