Like Arrows Movie Review

Disclosure: I did receive a screening link to be able to watch this before it came out in theaters to be able to help facilitate my review!

When I first heard about this movie, it was when we went to see “I Can Only Imagine” and I told my husband this is a movie we will have to see! Being a parent is hard, and as they get older it really doesn’t get any easier! Trust me, I am going to have a 14 year old as of tomorrow and I struggle daily to be the best parent that I can be! But this movie is something that spoke to me as I watched it late last night, tears flowing and all!

“Like Arrows” is another great movie from the Kendrick Brothers and I can attest that this movie has to be one of the best ones they have made. Having been married before, having a child as young as I was, I was not the best mom at some times. As a parent, I have lost my cool, I have yelled and gotten angry with Olivia for doing things that as a child she would do anyways.  We have to deal with the ‘blowouts’ each week and yes poop was everywhere just like it was in the movie. It really helped me know that as a parent, I was not the only one going through what all parents go through. Not every parent relationship is going to be perfect because I can tell you we all lose our cool with any child and anything we may or may not be going through.

The movie is about how two parents get overwhelmed with raising children, and takes about 50 years of marriage to show how to raise and love your children through God’s word! This really made me feel like sometimes we are too hard on our own children and yes, even ourselves as parents. I know for me I can be hard to get a long with and I know I’m not the best parent as many parents go through it. I felt like this movie was made so well and was something that I was glad that I got to watch this at home. This movie is something that we will add to our collection of movies by the Kendrick Brothers! I highly recommend any parent going to see this movie! It’s something that you must go see whether you are a new parent, a seasoned parent or a grandparent! Great job guys to another great movie!!!

This movie comes out on May 1 & May 3rd! Guys get out there and see it! Take your kids if you need to, but I am telling you this is a movie that every parent needs to see!
