Carolina Renaissance Festival Review

*This is a sponsored post. I was given tickets and a VIP Parking pass for myself and my family to attend the Carolina Renaissance Festival in Huntersville, NC from USFamilyGuide in exchange for an honest review. All my opinions are 100% my own!*

Ever since I took Olivia to the Maryland Renn Festival she has enjoyed going to one. We didn’t go to one again since 2015 because I honestly didn’t know that North Carolina had one but now that we know she loves going to it. We stayed longer this time too which was a plus and we got to enjoy a little more than we did the first time we went in 2015.

We decided to head to the Carolina Renaissance Festival on our way up to the mountains for vacation. We had so much fun and decided to leave for the Charlotte, NC area the same day. It took us roughly 4 hours to get there so we did have to deal with a little traffic in getting into the festival but once we made it to the VIP parking it was smooth sailing from there. We soon were able to enjoy our time inside the festival area and do a few things that we haven’t done before. We didn’t do the jousting this time because we wanted to experience a little more. But we did go into a lot of the shops and different places within the area that I was very impressed with. Have you ever rode a camel before? Well guess what?! You can do so at the Carolina Renn. Festival! I was even posting pictures on Instagram all day long while we were there because there was so much to do!

Have you ever watched ‘Forged in Fire’ on the History Channel? Well the cool thing is that you can see one of the contestants that was on the show this year! He was on Season 4 Episode 6! And better yet he can be seen at the Carolina Renaissance Festival. I was impressed with the detail that he was showing as he was making a knife.

And when it comes to food let me say that the Steak on a Stake was amazing and the Corn on the Cob was pretty amazing too!!! We fell in love with the really good food there! We happened to grab some fudge too and wow is all I can say!!! We look forward to going back next year as a family. We have made this a family tradition now and we enjoyed the trip to the Renaissance Festival! Thank you to USFamilyGuide for allowing us to go there and enjoy!
