Unashamed Book Review & Giveaway

Have you ever felt like you have been shamed by others by the way you look or the way you act? I have in past years and its not a good feeling either. It has affected me in the way I think, act and even eat at times and it’s heart breaking to tell you the truth. The one thing that I love about reading books is coming across the books that help me feel like I’m not alone in this game called life! I was very honored to be able to review the book, “Unashamed: Healing Our Brokenness and Finding Freedom from Shame” by Heather Davis Nelson. This book has been a wonderful book to read especially after finding many people who look down on you if you are bigger than most.

Heather Davis Nelson has done a wonderful job in writing this book and it has helped me feel like I’m not alone in the game of Life! I read it as soon as I received the book because I am not taking any classes this summer and this has helped me be able to read books that I haven’t been able to in the past. This book is about how it offers hope to those who are struggling under the burden of shame. Many people shame others because maybe they are trying to get out of others thinking of what they believe or what they look like. It’s sad because even though they may be shaming one person, maybe they are doing this because they were shamed too. This book shines the life-giving light of the gospel on the things that leave us feeling worthless and rejected, directing our attention to the God who promises to forgive and restore us….No Matter What! I have fallen in love with this book and for any of my friends who would love to read this book just let me know and I’d be more than happy to share it with you! Or you can purchase the book here. But just in case you’d like your own copy there is good news because I am giving away another copy to a lucky reader! Just follow along below!

I was sent my copy of the book for free in exchange for an honest review from Flyby Promotions!!
