Winter is officially here!

Although winter isn’t officially supposed to start until Tuesday, it still feels like its here already. This month so far we’ve had two snow falls already and I am sure that this is just the beginning of what we have coming this winter. I am actually excited because I love the snow but I hate the ice. Yesterday ended up being a snow day for the kids and for me too which was nice. But I do wish that the 2 hour delay they had today didn’t happen. The roads were fine. Trust me I know. Lol.

Now that we are well into the cold air and weather I need to get a new pair of gloves and I’d love to be able to purchase a new toboggan hat this year too. I know that’s the day after Christmas is on a Sunday so I might not go then but I might go the following weekend. I have just a few things in mind to get and the rest of the money will be going into my car savings account. Today at lunch I need to go have my oil changed in my van and I’m not looking forward to that but I know it has to get done. Other than that nothing to do this weekend except finish wrapping presents and cleaning my van out.
