The Pool and Sun

Today really has been a day to lounge around the house. It’s not often that I can say I do that but recently I haven’t been wanting to do much of anything. I think I just wear myself out during the week that when the weekend comes around I don’t have much energy. This week has been extremely busy and so I’ve been trying to keep up with the lack of sleep I’ve been getting. So this morning Olivia gets up around 6:45am and I told her to go back to bed, I was NOT going to get up that early on a Saturday. She said OK and went back to her room only to come back in at 7:05am and tell me to get up. Yeah I guess I had to. Well I’ve been having these headaches like sinus ones lately and my glands are super swollen today. I just wanted to sleep in but having a child that gets up as soon as the sun hits her room doesn’t happen. Today Olivia and I watched cartoons for a little while before it was time to watch Blue’s Clue. That is her favorite new show I think. Then we decided to go out in the pool for a little bit. Yeah don’t ever lay on a float and expect your child not to touch you or twirl you around in circles. Olivia did that and eventually made me sick enough to not want to do the pool anymore today. I also didn’t put sunscreen on and so I got a little toasty on my back. Oh well a little sunburn won’t hurt now just when I’m old and crippled will you tell. LOL. Olivia got a little sun too as well but I was able to put some aloe on her shoulders. They are tan now.

Ok so tomorrow instead of going to church in the morning we are running to Walmart in Nashville to pick up some medicine for Olivia and also for me and then we are going to Tarboro. I’m going to take myself to the clinic there because I refuse to go to the Boice-Willis Immediate Care (I had a bad experience there or I’ll sit there for hours). I’m thinking that I have either an ear infection or a sinus infection so I want to get that taken care of so that this vertigo will go away. I hate being sick! No fun at all! Olivia on the other hand has been rather healthy. The only thing we have to worry about is that tube in her right ear falling out again. If that happens then she will most likely have to have it put back in again. Ugh. But it’s worth it. Keeps us from having the major ear infections several times a month. Well I’m going to bed. Good night. I’ll update tomorrow when I get back home.
