This weekend turned out to be quite uneventful. Thursday I had my orientation for school which all I had to do was sign in and get the instructions for signing onto the site. Then I met up with Terry and Livy at Chili’s in Rocky Mount. I highly recommend that if you want to eat something low in fat then get the Fajita Pita! It was so good and tasty. Livy of course got Chicken and Terry got the Cajun Ribeye which was good as well. I am going to try to cut back on how much red meat I eat though and just stick with Pork and Chicken. Friday again wasn’t eventful at all…just went to work and went home and ate cereal. On Saturday Livy and I went to my parents house to pick up my sister, Elizabeth and to see the new puppy, Meatball, a english bulldog. We picked up Elizabeth and then we went into town for lunch and to get my van reinspected and also to have the oil changed. Then we went over to Shoe Carnival to look for some boots for Elizabeth. We were going to venture on over to Wal-Mart but they were so crowded we decided not to. We ended up coming back to Mom and Dad’s and dropping of Liz and then going home for nap time.

I’ll be so happy when the Wal-Mart comes to Nashville because that means I can go there instead of Rocky Mounts which on the weekends is always crowded with the Mexican buses. The way that some of them look at you like your an alien or something gives me the creeps. I try not to think like that but they just sit there and stare and when the start talking we have no idea what they are saying and it sometimes worries what they are saying. Enough talk about them. I picked up some things that we needed at the house and I also picked up a couple shirts for Livy. I then went back to my inlaws and picked up Livy to take home. Terry was at home waiting for his Chicken Pastry and well we had to get that home. On the way home we ran into some pretty bad rain showers (it was raining so hard we couldn’t see the road in front of us) and then it cleared right on up. Last night for dinner we had chicken salad and I made a Nectarine & Banana Smoothie. It was very tasty. I also am working on another Mei-Tai for a friend. Hope they will enjoy it as much as I enjoy mine. Tonight we are having Beef Roast and then we will be going into Rocky Mount for a couple of things. Plus we have to go grocery shopping so needless to say I have to go and pick up NO JUNK FOOD!!

  • Livy’s haircut is soo cute! Plus – Babylegs ROCK!! They’re super awesome for wintertime under pants. (and very easy to make if you get women’s knee highs and cut off the feet and hem- voila! babylegs for baby and anklets for mama!)
